Terms of Service
Last updated: December 7, 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NanoQuote application and related services (the "Service"), provided by Live Oak Workshop LLC ("Live Oak Workshop", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. We have tried to keep them straightforward and fair.
1. Who may use NanoQuote
You may use NanoQuote only if you are able to form a binding contract with Live Oak Workshop and are using the Service on behalf of yourself or a business. By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms for your organization where applicable.
2. Your account and organization
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please notify us promptly so we can help.
Organizations may invite multiple users into a shared workspace. Within an organization, your access and permissions are controlled by your organization's admins. We are not responsible for how your organization chooses to manage access or use data within its workspace.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you will not:
- Use NanoQuote in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or underlying infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
- Send malware, spam, or other harmful or disruptive content through the Service.
- Use the Service in a way that could reasonably cause harm to Live Oak Workshop, other users, or the infrastructure we rely on.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the files, customer information, and other content you upload or create in NanoQuote ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Service and support you.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use and share Your Content and that it does not infringe the rights of others. If we receive a reasonable complaint about Your Content, we may ask you to address it or, where necessary, remove or restrict access to that content.
5. Plans, trials, and billing
Certain parts of the Service are offered on a paid subscription or pay-per-use basis. Plan details, pricing, and billing intervals are described in the NanoQuote interface or on our website and may be updated from time to time.
If you are on a paid plan, charges are typically handled through a third-party payment provider. By starting a subscription, you authorize us and our payment provider to charge all applicable fees to the payment method you provide, according to the terms shown at checkout. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
6. Downtime and changes to the Service
We aim to keep NanoQuote reliable and available, but some downtime is inevitable—whether for maintenance, improvements, or issues outside our control. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time. If we make a change that materially impacts your use, we will try to provide reasonable notice where practical.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we use NanoQuote in our own fabrication shop and care a lot about its quality, we do not make guarantees about uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the Service will be error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Live Oak Workshop and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to use the Service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
9. Termination
You can stop using NanoQuote at any time. You may also cancel your subscription through the billing interface or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, where permitted by applicable law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Service. By continuing to use NanoQuote after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
